1. What we collect

PromptGPT collects the prompt text you enter so it can create a shareable link and display an answer page. The prompt is encoded into the generated URL, which means anyone with that URL may be able to read the prompt.

If you submit feedback, PromptGPT collects the feedback text and, if you choose to provide it, your email address so the operator can read or respond to your note.

2. AI processing

If an OpenAI API key is configured, prompts may be sent to OpenAI to produce responses. If no API key is configured, the site uses a local fallback response. Do not submit passwords, secrets, private personal data, or anything you are not allowed to share.

3. Hosting and logs

The site is hosted through third-party infrastructure, which may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, diagnostics, and security logs.

4. Cookies and analytics

PromptGPT does not require an account and does not intentionally use cookies to identify you. Third-party hosting or linked services may use their own cookies, logs, or analytics according to their policies.

5. Sharing links

Generated links are meant to be shared. Treat them as public. If you put sensitive information in a prompt and share the link, that information may be visible to anyone who opens it.

6. Changes

This policy may change as PromptGPT changes. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
